Position Title: 4.0 Reading Teachers
Brief Description: Provide culturally responsive and inclusive literacy instruction in
integrated settings for children in need of intensive, accelerated
instruction, specifically linked to progress monitoring that uses both
qualitative and quantitative data. Provide engaging opportunities in an
inclusive classroom that affirms and validates all students as listeners,
speakers, readers, writers, viewers and thinkers. This position reports to
the Building Principal.

Required Qualifications:

All candidates must possess New York State Teacher Certification in Reading or Literacy
or qualify to obtain it by the first date of employment. This requires at least a Bachelor’s degree. Licensed teachers from other states may qualify for reciprocity.

Salary Range: $51,241 - $73,141 (10-month full-time base)
