Position Title: 1.0  Pre-K Occupational Therapist

 

Brief Description: The preschool occupational therapist is an integral member of school and local community early childhood teams.  Working in cooperation with building leadership, educators, parents, community sites, evaluation team members and students.  The occupational therapist will provide an inclusive approach to service delivery and will participate on the preschool evaluation team, provide direct therapy, conduct evaluations and consultation services to ensure that all children have access and progress in their early childhood environment.  Ideal candidates will show experience with diverse cultures, anti-racist approaches to the particular work of an occupational therapist, and a commitment to strength-based practices and strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of New York State license as an Occupational Therapist required or qualify to obtain it by the first date of employment.

Salary Range: $53,291 - $75,191 (10-month full-time base)
