Position Title: Middle School Physical Education Teacher
Brief Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative, and student-centered educator to join our middle school team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to lead healthy, active lives.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction in Physical Education and Health to middle school students
- Promote lifelong fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy decision-making
- Develop and implement standards-based lesson plans aligned with New York State Learning Standards
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to promote student wellness and academic success
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families

Salary Range: $53,291-$75,191 (10-month full-time base) Based on the 24-25 ITA salary grid, a new contract is currently in negotiations.
