Position Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Brief Description: An administrative, operational, and supervisory position responsible for managing the day-to-day business operations of the ICSD Human Resources office. The core function of this role is to lead the HR team, direct workflow, and ensure the efficient, accurate, and compliant execution of all administrative HR processes. The incumbent serves as the primary office manager and operational lead, requiring strong skills in personnel management, organizational efficiency, and process oversight. This work is performed under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Assistant Director of Human Resources with considerable leeway to exercise independent judgement. Does related work as required.

Must be eligible for appointment as a Human Resources Coordinator by Civil Service
Civil Service Requirements:
A. Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial Labor Relations, or a closely related field with similar course curriculum, and three (3) years of full-time paid professional experience in human resources, personnel administration, or labor relations, at least one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; Or
B. Possession of an associate’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a
closely related field with similar course curriculum, and five (5) years of full-time paid professional experience in human resources, personnel administration, or labor relations, at least one (1) years of which must have included supervisory or lead responsibilities; Or
C. An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.
NOTE: Verifiable part-time experience may be prorated toward meeting full-time experience requirements
