Position Title: Mentor TA (Teaching Assistant)
Brief Description: Teaching Assistant to maintain a child-centered, culturally responsive approach to supporting students throughout the school day. Work individually and with groups of students to build relationships as a way to get to know students and their needs. Serve as an integral part of students’ teams, by attending team meetings and collaborating with grade level teams, to facilitate student success. Contribute to the positive culture of the school. Serve on the school safety team. Attend paid training after-hours. 39.75 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:

Possession of New York State Teaching Assistant or Teacher certification or eligible to obtain Teaching Assistant certification by time of hire.

Minimum 60 college credits

Salary Range: $18.30 per hour base with additional pay increment based on relevant experience.
