Position Title: English Teacher

Brief Description:  Teach English as a New Language (ENL) in a variety of settings. Co-teach and/or collaborate with content teachers in ELA, social studies, science, etc. Support English Language Learners (ELLs) in content classes, and advocate for their social and emotional needs. Participate in ongoing curriculum development, which responds to mandates of CR Part 154 and the NYS standards. Exhibit the ability to implement responsive curriculum, create an inclusive classroom, and differentiate instruction in order to engage the learning styles and needs of each student as an individual.

Required Qualifications:

Salary Range: $53,291-$75,191 (10-month full-time base)

Position Title: 1.0 Microcomputer Technician

Brief Description: Provides technical support for the educational and administrative computer hardware and software maintained by the District.  Assists with the installation and maintenance of district networking hardware and software.  Assists with the set-up and maintenance of labs/chromebooks.  Sorts, fixes, and maintains chromebook and other tech device inventory.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must Possess flexibility, adaptability, good organizational skills, must be task-oriented and work well under pressure. 

  • Must be eligible for appointment as a Microcomputer Technician by Civil Service:

  1. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND one (1) year of full-time paid experience, or its part-time paid equivalent, in computer repair or support; OR 

  2. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND successful completion of a six-month course in computer repair or computer science; OR 

  3. Any equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b).

 

Salary Range: $ 19.68/hr minimum, per Employees Association (EA) Bargaining Agreement
